Russell Stover Candies was created in 1923 by Russell and Clara Stover in their home in Denver, Colo. Since that time, it has grown to be the third largest chocolate manufacturer in America. Representing three iconic brands – Russell Stover, Whitman’s and Pangburn’s – Russell Stover Candies employs approximately 3,000 people with manufacturing facilities in Abilene and Iola, Kan.; Corsicana, Texas; and Montrose, Colo.; along with distribution centers in Tennessee, Florida, Nevada and Virginia. The company produces approximately 65 million pounds of chocolate annually that is sold in all 50 states and over 20 countries around the world.
