Albanese gummy bears

Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc.

Merrillville, IN

Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. started, like many small entrepreneurial companies do, with mom, dad, grandma and grandpa opening a small candy store, in the recession of 1983 in Merrillville, Ind. Now, 28 years later, led by Scott and Debbie Albanese, this family-owned and operated business is famous for manufacturing the World’s Best Gummies and employs close to 300 people. The family-owned business sees a bright future of continued growth and job opportunities for the Northwest Indiana community.

Learn more about Albanese and dozens of other NCA members as we work to document the hundreds of stories that comprise the U.S. candy industry.
