Littleton, CO — Warheads Sour Jelly Beans are being introduced in packaging for everyday sales as a result of consumer demand by Impact Confections, Inc.
The jelly bean market has had strong non-seasonal sales recently, growing at two times the rate of the non-chocolate segment, according to Andy Telatnik, Impact director of marketing.
“The sour jelly bean market is even stronger, growing at eight times the industry rate,” he adds. “However, there does not exist a sour branded, value-priced offering in the everyday market. We saw the opportunity to fill this gap with our highly successful Warheads Sour Jelly Beans.”
The sour beans come with six flavors and will be available in five- and eight-ounce peg bags, with SRPs of $1.39 and $1.99, respectively. In addition, the jelly beans will also pack in four-ounce theater boxes with a $1 SRP and 14-ounce laydown bags that have a $2.99 SRP. All pack sizes ship in 12-ct cases.
