Birmingham, UK — For expanding its global presence Ishida Europe Ltd. received a Queen’s Award for International Trade, the UK’s highest accolade for business success, the company reports.
As a percentage of total turnover, Ishida Europe increased exports from 65 percent to 76 percent. In addition, the company notes it also implemented strategies to strengthen its presence in established markets, while also entering new geographic regions.
Graham Clements, managing director, says: “From our establishment in 1984, we have always recognized that we operate in a global market and established a business model that ensures our customers receive the same high standards of service and support wherever they are in the world.”
He adds the company’s success is a result of its global strategy, its marketing-leading equipment and proactive new product development.
“We have ambitious plans to continue to develop our global business,” Clements says. “The Queen’s Award provides the ideal foundation for the next phase of our growth.”
