Ingredion Highlights Non-GE Ingredients

Westchester, IL — Showcasing its line of non-GE ingredients, Ingredion, Inc. has released a fact sheet highlighting these inputs to help manufacturers stay ahead of these trends.

The company reports its non-GMO offerings include sweeteners such as Reb A stevia, glucose, dextrose and high-fructose corn syrup; texturizers such as cook-up and instant starches from maize, tapioca, potato, rice and sago; and nutritional ingredients including a range of fibers, minerals and whole grains.

James P. Zallie, executive vice-president, global specialties and president North America and EMEA, says: “Ingredion has always believed in giving its customers a choice. With the growing interest in non-GMO consumer goods, we feel the time is right to communicate to the industry the strong depth and breadth of Ingredion’s non-GMO ingredients portfolio.”
