ICCO Receives French Confectionery Award

London — The Academie Françiase du Chocolat et de la Confiserie has presented its grand prize to the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) for its efforts to advance standards in confectionery and chocolate.

According to the Academie, the award acknowledges ICCO’s long-term efforts on behalf of the industry and particularly its establishment of World Cocoa and Chocolate Day, October 1, to draw public attention to the contribution of cocoa producers.
