Bethel, PA — Developed with a $100 million investment, Dollar General Corp. has opened its 12th distribution center and its first in Pennsylvania, the company reports.
Ground was broken in 2012 for the nearly one million-square-foot facility, which will service more than 1,000 stores in seven states throughout the Midwest and Northeast when at full capacity, according to Dollar General. The new facility will add 500 jobs to the area.
Rick Dreiling, CEO and chairman, says: “Our presence in Pennsylvania represents another opportunity to help our stores better serve our customers. We also look forward to a longstanding partnership with the Bethel community as we continue to focus on our mission of serving others.”
