Las Vegas — Filling 13,000 square feet on two floors with more than 800 candy and chocolate items, Hershey’s Chocolate World Experience has opened its doors in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino.
“Las Vegas is one of the country’s top tourist destinations and the perfect place to bring one of America’s most iconic brands to life,” Senior Vice-President and Chief Growth & Marketing Officer Mike Wege explains. “Our guests will enjoy an interactive space where they can taste new treats, personalize sweet gifts and make keepsake photos.”
In addition to an 800-pound milk chocolate replica of the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building constructed with 1,800 Hershey’s milk chocolate bars, the venue offers visitors the opportunity to personalize their experience by making custom candy wrappers, selecting Reese’s products based on their preferred proportions of chocolate and peanut butter, choosing favorite Kisses and Jolly Ranchers flavors and sharing their adventure through social media, including starring in their own Reese’s television spot.
The New York-New York installation is Hershey’s West Coast flagship store; other locations include Hershey, PA; New York City; Chicago; Niagara Falls, Canada; Shanghai; Dubai and Singapore.
Visitors enter the Las Vegas Chocolate World Experience through the 74-foot-by-24-foot Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar façade.
