Cincinnati, OH — Designed for single-serve snack applications, Ampac Holdings, LLC’s  E-Z SnackPak is a lightweight, flexible pouch that transforms into a serving tray by pinching and pulling the top edges, the company reports.

Intended for use with sweet and savory snacks and foods eaten directly from the pack, the tetrahedronal pack can be gas flushed prior to filling and incorporates head space for product support and protection during shipping and handling. Its geometric design allows stacking in multipack bags and shelf-ready shippers for use at the point of sale, according to Ampac.

In addition, the E-Z SnackPak uses as much as 25 percent less material than traditional packaging by eliminating traditional side seals, the company claims. Options include barrier and non-barrier, rotogravure, flexographic and high-definition flexographic printing.
