Washington — Chocolate trends, in-store merchandising, product innovations and customer loyalty will be explored in a series of Sweet Insights webinars taking place every Thursday in August.
On August 7, Lu Ann Williams, head of innovation for Innova Market Insights, and Kate Thomson, of the Sterling-Rice Group, will discuss consumer preferences and trends for chocolate. Larry Levin, executive vice-president, industry insight at Information Resources, Inc., will examine the key drivers of channel and category growth on August 14, Michelle Adams, founder of Marketing Brainology, will delve into how merchandising can inspire and engage shoppers on August 21. On August 28, Richard Winter, POPAI president, will explore the institute’s 2014 Mass Merchant Channel Study and how it can impact business.
Each webinar will begin at 1 pm (EST), with the exception of the August 7 installment, which will start at 11 am (EST). In addition, the webinars will end with a Q&A session with the presenters.
