ALC Hosts Punchies In-Store Promotion

La Porte, IN — American Licorice Co. is launching a Sour Punchies in-store promotion sweepstakes now through August 30 in which consumers can win a trip to Orlando, FL, and Punchies merchandise.
Consumers can scan QR codes featured on displays and packaging to access an instant game and unlock the prize entry form. In addition to daily prizes, participants have the chance to win a trip to Orlando that includes airfare, hotel accommodations, theme park tickets and transportation for four. Some 195 first-place winners of the instant game will receive a Punchies back-to-school prize pack that includes a backpack, water bottle, t-shirt and Punchies candy.
American debuted Sour Punchies earlier this summer. The chewy, soft-shell sour candy comes in lemon, strawberry, tangerine, blue raspberry and green apple flavors. The two-ounce count goods carry a SRP range of 89 cents to $1.29, 3.5-ounce theater boxes have a SRP of 99 cents to $1.39 and 14-ounce laydown bags carry a SRP of $2.99 to $3.99.
