Rodman, King Kong Star In New Wonderful Pistachios Ads

Los Angeles — Dennis Rodman, fitness instructor Joanna Rohrback, an elephant, King Kong and “Psycho’s” Norman Bates will star in Paramount Farms’ new Wonderful Pistachios “Get Crackin’” ad campaign.
“Dennis Rodman does it because he’s nuts; the Prancercise lady does it to stay fit; elephants do it because they're tired of peanuts; King Kong does it by the pound; and Norman Bates does it for his mother” are the taglines making light of why each character cracks and eats pistachios.
Debuting yesterday, the campaign has booked more than 5,000 national TV spots during shows including “Good Morning America” and “Late Night with David Letterman,” Paramount Farms reports. The company is also launching online ads, in-store promotions and is partnering with The Harlem Globetrotters and Major League Baseball.
