Rockaway Beach, NY — The Madelaine Chocolate Co. will reopen its manufacturing facility in mid-June, following an eight-month rebuilding process after Hurricane Sandy severely damaged the plant in October, the company announced today.
Pricing and a product availability schedule will be available in the near future and the company says it is taking orders now.
“We are on schedule thanks to the effort, dedication and talent of our staff,” Jorge Farber, company president, tells Candy & Snack TODAY. “What our staff has done from maintenance to administrative sales — but especially on the manufacturing side — is pretty amazing. All the machinery we're using was fixed in-house and we received no outside governmental financial support.”
