Courtland, VA — Inspired by company friend and Purple Heart Recipient Cpl. Manny Jimenez, USMC (Ret.), Feridies will donate $1 to Hope for the Warriors for every 18-ounce can of Super Extra Large Virginia Peanuts sold.

Packs of the company’s best selling peanuts now carry the Hope For the Warriors logo. The non-profit works to improve the quality of life for post-9/11 service members who were psychologically or physically injured, their families and the families of the deceased.

Jimenez says: “Hope For The Warriors has played a huge part in helping me and my family in a variety of ways including supporting my participation in marathons, triathlons and other sporting events around the world since my injury. I am grateful for all that they have done for me and my fellow servicemen and women and thankful to Feridies for their support of such a giving organization.”

Jimenez and other veterans represented Hope For The Warriors at the Fancy Food Show in New York this past week, where the company unveiled the peanuts in packs with the Hope For The Warriors label.
