Washington — More than $2 million in USDA Market Access Program (MAP) Funds is available for NCA members to use toward promoting exports.
The MAP program will match up to 50 percent of foreign marketing and promotional expenses including advertising, sample shipments, public relations, seminars and trade show-related expenses. Funds are reserved for companies with a maximum of 500 employees that produce chocolate and confectionery products containing at least 50 percent U.S.-grown raw materials.
NCA Senior Director of International Business Development Karen Horan says: “The MAP program is an excellent way for small businesses who are just beginning to export or expanding their export business to reduce the initial financial burdens. The world is becoming more global, and programs like MAP strengthen the opportunity for successful business abroad.”
