St. Louis — Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Co. is introducing the world’s first all-natural cherry cordial, the company claims.

Made with naturally grown fruit and processed with natural beet juice, the chocolates have no preservatives, artificial dyes, colors and high-fructose corn syrup, according to Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate. The company reports the products have a shelf life of up to six months.

Dan Abel Jr., vice-president of operations, explains Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate made a commitment to switch its entire product line to all-natural formulations by the end of this year and cherry cordials were the final product to be changed over. He says it was a make or break decision, as the company had considered dropping the product from its offerings.

“One thing we needed to do was make sure that our theory was correct that we could cordialize the product without preservatives,” Abel tells Candy & Snack TODAY. “We were able to finally work through it and solve the problem instead of just walking away from it.”

Packing in eight-pc boxes, the cherry cordials have a SRP of $11.95 and ship in 12-ct wholesale cases.
