Hackettstown, NJ — As the sponsor of the No. 18 M&M’s Toyota race car, Mars Chocolate North America is offering NASCAR fans a chance to drive around the Atlanta Motor Speedway track on Monday, Sept. 2.
Dubbed the M&M’s 500, the event is part of the company’s “Better With M” campaign and is aimed to show consumers how Mondays can be “Better With M,” Mars reports. Fans can sign up at atlantamotorspeedway.com/mm500. Registration is limited to the first 500 people and drivers must show a valid driver's license to participate.
The company is also continuing its &ldqou;Race Day is Better With M” campaign and will visit the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in Charlotte, Atlanta and New Hampshire to search for fans displaying their love for M&M's. The selected audience members will be rewarded branded race gear, free M&M's products and have a chance to upgrade to better seats at the race.
Mars is also encouraging Twitter users to tweet about how they incorporate M&M's into their at-home NASCAR celebrations using the hashtag #BetterWithMMS for the chance to win prizes.
