Washington — Based on the success of market-leading Candy & Snack TODAY, the NCA is broadening the magazine’s content to provide a single source for industry news. The reinvented magazine will become the all-inclusive voice of the NCA’s trade publications, debuting its new format with the November/December issue and adding some 5,000 industry readers and global circulation.
The six-time magazine will provide readers with a comprehensive look at the candy business — from farm to shelf — that will feature manufacturing technology, legislative and regulatory affairs and quarterly updates and information, previously included in the NCA Journal.
Publisher and NCA President Larry Graham explains: “The accomplishments of Candy & Snack TODAY in four short years has proven the need for well-rounded, informative and useful industry intelligence on a regular basis.”
In addition to expanded content, Candy & Snack TODAY readers will experience a new navigable format featuring updated graphics that clearly designate areas of interest — from research and development to merchandising.
Reflecting both the domestic candy market dominance and the growing importance of emerging markets, Candy & Snack TODAY is working with its major advertisers to ensure their customers start receiving the new-look magazine, backed by a brand new web site.
This web site will follow the new direction of the magazine, delivering daily news on all aspects of the industry, both domestic and international.
