Plano, TX — PepsiCo’s Doritos brand is asking fans to make a Doritos Super Bowl TV ad for the chance to win $1 million, have their commercial aired during the Super Bowl and work with Marvel Studios on the set of “Marvel’s the Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
“We ask for submissions to be bold, action-packed, funny and original,” company spokesman Chad Darwin says. “Essentially, we are looking at how our consumers show their love for Doritos.”
Crash the Super Bowl Contestants can submit their ads October 8 through November 24 at doritos.com. An expert panel of judges, including Iron Man and Spider-Man creator Stan Lee, will select five 30-second commercials as finalists and the producers will be invited to Super Bowl XLVIII in Rutherford, NJ.
Consumers will vote at doritos.com for a winner, and the top two commercials will air during the Super Bowl, the producers will both work with Marvel Studios and the runner-up will be awarded $50,000. The other three finalists will receive $25,000.
Doritos says it has no other Super Bowl ads planned at this time.
