McLean, VA — For the second consecutive year, Mars, Inc. has been named to a list of the 25 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces by Great Place to Work, the company announced.
“The companies on the list are creating workplaces dedicated to fostering trust, pride and camaraderie among their employees,” explained China Gorman, CEO of Great Place to Work.
Mars was recognized for its high percentage of female managers globally; commitment to workplace health; learning and development program through Mars University; volunteer service and Mars Ambassador programs; and principles-guided working culture.
Mars, Inc. President Paul S. Michaels says: “An important part of our success is having a team of associates who mirror the diversity of our consumers around the world. It gives us the perspectives we need to look at business challenges and opportunities from multiple angles and points of view. We’re honored that this has led us to be listed among the world's greatest places to work.”
To qualify for the list, companies had to have been named to a minimum of five national Great Places to Work lists and have at least 5,000 associates, 40 percent of whom should be employed in countries other than the headquarters location.
