Takasago Adds Five To Flavor Division, Marketing

Rockleigh, NJ — Joseph Leone, Craig Kostick and Sarah McCabe have joined Takasago International Corp.’s flavor division, while Carolyn Chen and Jean Merrill have been added to the company’s marketing department.

Leone was named Director, Flavor Manufacturing for Takasago, and has held key operations, supply chain and procurement roles with Bontoux Inc., Dale and Thomas Popcorn, Kerry Inc. Ingredients, J. Manheimer Inc. and Givaudan SA. He is also a member of the IFT and the American Production and Inventory Control Society.

With more than 12 years’ experience, McCabe joins the company as Senior Flavorist. She has worked at Dragoco Inc. and Symrise AG, where she developed flavors for sweets and beverage applications, according to the company.

Kostick has been named Sensory Analyst for Takasago’s global sensory group, which applies sensory techniques and insights to support the company's product development.

Now serving as Senior Marketing Coordinator, Chen will be responsible for fulfillment of product requests from Takasago affiliates, assisting the marketing team with data collection and conducting trend research.

Merrill was named Graphic Design Specialist and will work on customer presentations and handouts as well as promotional marketing materials and event displays.
