Wounded Vets, Families Get Support From Jelly Belly

Fairfield, CA — Jelly Belly Candy Co. will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of of Jelly Belly Camo Beans to help wounded veterans and their families, the company reports.

Vice-President of Specialty Sales John Pola explains: “Herm Rowland, our chairman, saw this as an opportunity to support the troops. The response has been absolutely phenomenal. Jelly Belly is committed to supporting our troops in a real way, and one that hits home for everyone.”

Introduced in August, the camouflage-inspired candies in chocolate pudding, green apple, licorice, juicy pear, orange sherbet, toasted marshmallow and watermelon flavors. They are certified kosher and include no gluten, fat, dairy or gelatin. With a SRP of $2.49, the 3.5-ounce peg bags ship in 12-ct display-ready cases`.
