Pearson’s Redesigns Website, Promotes With Instagram

St. Paul — Pearson’s Candy Co. has redesigned its website,, to showcase the heritage and nostalgic appeal of the 104-year-old company.


The site launch was promoted through a series of 15-second Instagram videos, which can be viewed at, featuring lighthearted advertisements as well as scenes from the company’s production lines.

The new site highlights the Pearson's heritage with a timeline that includes images pulled from the company’s Instagram featuring vintage wrappers, a design aesthetic of mid-century advertising and an improved user experience, Pearson’s reports.

Andrea Buckner, marketing manager, says: “We have such a great story and classic product, but weren’t showcasing either anywhere. The new site perfectly embodies our voice and provides users an experience that is not only informative, but extremely engaging and delightful.”

The company reports the redesign, which took about three months, is its first major digital project and investment to date.
