Fairfax, VA— With a redesigned program and enhanced networking and educational opportunities, the American Wholesale Marketers Association’s (AWMA’s) annual conference has been rebranded as the AWMA Marketplace & Solutions Expo, according the organization.
The expo will be held in Las Vegas at the Paris Hotel, February 25 to 27, 2014, and features new incentives for manufacturers to offer show deals to distributors, Marketplace show floor seminars in the AWMA Solutions Café & Theatre, a Knowledge Bar to facilitate one-on-one discussions with subject matter experts, and more networking opportunities in more venues, including as a Marketplace lounge area.
Explaining that the changes are the result of collaboration AWMA President and CEO Scott Ramminger says: “The bottom line is that there will be more excitement, more new products, more education and more show deals in a compact, efficient format that makes sense in today's business environment. Our goal is to make this event an invaluable experience for distributors and exhibitors alike.”
Exhibitor displays, educational sessions, an industry reception with a prize drawing, a networking and silent auction lounge, and a new products showcase will occupy the show floor. Venues off the exhibit hall, keynote speeches, AWMA Hall of Fame Award presentation and address by incoming chairman Mark Davenport, president, J.T. Davenport & Sons, a div. of Core-Mark International.
