San Francisco — Industry veteran Paul Davis has become Popchips’ CEO, the snack food company reports.
He succeeds Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO Keith Belling and Co-Founder and President Patrick Turpin, who will remain with the company. Davis will oversee all corporate operations in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
Citing Davis’s operating experience, leadership and innovativeness, Belling says: “Paul’s success transitioning from the founder of Kettle Foods, Inc. while embracing and building on its rich culture and team dynamic further assured us he was the perfect choice.”
As CEO of Outerwall, Inc.’s Coinstar and Redbox brands, Davis quadrupled the company’s revenues and earnings. He previously was CEO of Kettle Foods, Inc., president and chief customer officer at Frito-Lay N.A., Inc.
Davis, who began his career at Proctor & Gamble, also served as North American president of Starbucks Coffee Co.
