Decatur, IL — Archer Daniels Midland Co. has promoted Chris Boerm to president, grain, with responsibilities for overseeing the company’s export grain business, grain merchandizing operations and destination marketing, ADM reports.
He previously was vice-president, grain, and advisor to the office of the chairman; vice-president and general manager for Eastern grain and corn processing origination and senior merchandising manager for corn processing.
Senior Vice-President and President, Agricultural Services Joe Taets says: “With more than two decades and a range of experience at ADM, Chris has the knowledge and proven leadership to manage and grow our grains business.”
For its newly created Corporate Strategic & Financial Planning operation, ADM has appointed Ian Pinner vice-president, responsible for developing and driving its strategic growth and business performance initiatives and for leading its annual business planning process. Pinner previously was president of the company’s Grains group, and now reports to CFO Ray Young.
As ADM’s Director, Corporate Strategy & Competitive Analysis, Christina McGlone-Hahn joins the company from Deutsche Bank, where she was head of agricultural commodities research. She reports to Ian Pinner.
