Topeka, KS — Mars, Inc. is setting up a temporary M&M’s World store in Topeka and will donate a portion of the profits from merchandise sales to the Downtown Topeka Foundation (DTF) for its revitalization of Kansas Avenue, according to the organization.

From March 28 through April 13, the pop-up enterprise will sell “Made in Topeka” merchandise and other products to call attention to the pending opening of Mars’ 350,000-square-foot, $250 million plant, which will make peanut M&M’s and Snickers bars. M&M’s World stores are located in New York, Orlando, Las Vegas, London, and Henderson, NV.

In October 2013, the company donated $200,00 toward DTF’s efforts and is a corporate sponsor of a small park on Kansas Avenue.
