Bethlehem, PA — Joseph Bell, principal of Joseph Bell Consulting, Inc., is the 17th recipient of the Marie Kelso Memorial Award for his paper, “An Introduction to the Physiology of Sweet and Bitter Perceptions,” presented at the 2013 Pennsylvania Manufacturing Confectioners Association (PMCA) Annual Production Conference.
The award, bestowed by the PMCA production conference program committee, recognizes Bell’s work and its significant contribution to industry knowledge. It will be presented at the group’s 68th Annual Production Conference banquet on April 15 at the Marriott Lancaster at Penn Square.
Bell, a Certified Food Technologist and food and confectionery manufacturing and technical training consultant, was principal technology scientist for the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co., Kraft Foods Group Inc.’s Confections Div., Mondelez International, Inc.’s Nabisco brand and The NutraSweet Co.
