Greg tracks the latest market trends and consumer behaviors and integrates the findings to develop solutions for UPS's largest retail customers.  His industry expertise enables retail customers to grow faster, connect easier with their consumers, and expand into global markets. The retail group is UPS's largest customer segment. The exponential growth of global eCommerce, particularly the expected growth in emerging markets, means UPS's leadership in this segment will continue to grow as more innovations are introduced.  

Prior to his current role, Greg was senior vice president of Government, Retail and Professional Services, which includes banking, insurance, finance and the real estate industry. He also collaborated with state and federal government agencies including the Department of Defense.  Throughout his career, Greg has provided leadership for the global strategic team. Working in Belgium, he was the vice president of the strategic accounts team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He later add added Asia to his responsibilities and became the vice president of sales and marketing for supply chain operations. Notably, Greg was the first vice president of global sales creating new market strategies for UPS's top customers.  He started his career with UPS in 1977 as a car washer in West Virginia. He was promoted five years later to drive the iconic UPS brown truck and served customers for another five years before transitioning into sales and marketing.  Greg received his bachelor's degree from Marshall University in West Virginia.
