Pack Expo LogoThe National Confectioners Association (NCA) is pleased to announce that it will sponsor a confectionery pavilion at PACK EXPO 2010, in partnership with Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI).

PACK EXPO has expanded its show to include manufacturers of processing equipment and NCA will organize the new confectionery pavilion at the PACK EXPO 2010 edition.

“This is a perfect synergy for our manufacturing community. Having both packaging and processing exhibitors all under one roof and at one trade show will provide added value for our confectionery manufacturers and make more efficient use of time,” says NCA President Larry Graham.

The NCA sponsored confectionery pavilion will occupy more than 10,000 net square feet of space and feature the leading confection oriented suppliers within a prime location inside the south hall of McCormick Place.

“NCA’s supplier members are pleased and excited about this new partnership with PACK EXPO”, states Ross Bainbridge of Bainbridge Associates and chairman of NCA’s supplier advisory committee. “I have spoken with a large number of our supplier members and everyone is looking forward to this new partnership and the opportunities for supplier and manufacturer members. We are expecting a strong exhibitor presence in the new confectionery pavilion and with PACK EXPO’s resources we will be able to market effectively to the entire confectionery manufacturer industry.”

“In 2008, more than 3,500 confection oriented attendees came to PACK EXPO to find packaging and processing solutions,” notes Charles. D. Yuska, PMMI president & CEO. “Having the NCA and its innovative members actively participating in PACK EXPO will ensure that this important customer group’s needs will continue to be met.”

“We believe PACK EXPO will best serve the needs and interests of NCA’s packaging and equipment company members”, states Graham. “And we look forward to partnering with PMMI and collaborate on a successful event.”

NCA supplier members will have the first opportunity to reserve exhibit space within the Confectionery Pavilion before non-members and they will also receive an attractive discounted rate to exhibit.

“This will be a great new member benefit for our supplier members,” adds Graham. “We will also sponsor a reception during the show with PMMI that will bring both suppliers and buyers together.”

PACK EXPO 2010 will be the single largest, most comprehensive trade show featuring the very latest in packaging and processing innovations, new trends and technologies, and creative business solutions.

More information about space selection and pricing will be available in August. Space selection will be held in the fall of 2009 and all NCA members will be notified of the date and time for their online booth selection.
