Ferrara Candy Company

The Ferrara Candy Company was founded as the Ferrara Pan Candy Company in Chicago in 1908. The first product developed and sold were sugar-coated almonds. Over the next century, Ferrara Candy Company has evolved into a well-known Chicago-based confectionery company after its merger with Minnesota-based Farley and Sathers in 2012.

The combined portfolio of these two companies created a stronger Ferrara, and the company is now the number one non-chocolate manufacturer in the United States. Ferrara Candy Company is known for popular brands that include: Trolli®, Black Forest™, Brach’s®, Bob’s® , Lemonhead™, Now & Later®, Red-Hots™, Sathers®, Jujyfruits®, Atomic Fireballs and other iconic favorites.

Ferrara Candy Company is involved in philanthropic and community groups such as the Leukemia Research Foundation, the Chicago Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Lincoln Park Zoological Society and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

The headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, and utilizing state-of-the-art manufacturing locations across the country, the $1 billion Ferrara Candy Company combines a commitment to using the high-quality ingredients with a focused understanding of what candy consumers want.
