The National Confectioners Association, the American Wholesale Marketers Association (AWMA), and the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) joined forces to explore potential profit opportunities offered by confections in the convenience channel. The decision to work together offered the opportunity to explore every possible scenario to build sales, revenue, and profits without investing in new plant, capacity, equipment, or more people.
The research results offer ideas to grow sales and profits in the confectionery category and provide an opportunity for retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers to take a forward-looking position and grow together.
