[Webinar] FSMA Sanitary Transportation Requirements

Tuesday, April 3, 2018 – 1:00-2:00 pm ET

The FSMA final rule on Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food establishes requirements for shippers, loaders, carriers and receivers to use sanitary practices that ensure the safety of foods during transportation. This rule builds on provisions envisioned in the 2005 Sanitary Food Transportation Act and is designed to prevent practices during transportation that could create a food safety risk.  The first compliance date for this rule was April 2017, however small businesses have until April 6, 2018, to comply.

This webinar will address:

  • Who is covered under the rule
  • Exemptions and waivers
  • Key requirements
  • Training
  • Recordkeeping

This complimentary webinar is provided at no cost to NCA members.
