Chicago — Haribo of America, Inc. is celebrating its parent company’s 100th anniversary with Passport Mix, an assortment of the leading gummi varieties from global markets.
The limited-edition packs include gummies such as Crocs from France, Balla Balla from Spain, Portugal’s Brixx, Cherries, Happy Cola and Gold Bears from Germany, Rings from the UK and Irish markets and airplane shaped pieces, which are exclusive to Passport Mix.
“What is really exciting is all the textured mixed inside the bags,” Katie Waller, vice-president of marketing, tells Candy & Snack TODAY. “It will have traditional gummies, foam gummies and extruded products, which are more of a ‘sour bites’ type item. It’s a lot of texture in one pack.”
Coming in four-ounce packs, which have a SRP of $1.49, Passport Mix ships in 12-ct cases and will be marketed throughout the summer, the company reports.
