Battle Creek, MI — Looking to move its iconic Pop-Tarts brand into the snacking occasion sector, Kellogg Co. introduces Pop-Tarts Pretzel. Maintaining the brand’s classic shape, the product has a pretzel crust and is available in two flavors — chocolate and cinnamon sugar — for a sweet and salty combination.
“Pop-Tarts is always ingeniously creating new ways to enjoy familiar, loved foods,” says Joe Beauprez, marketing director, Pop-Tarts. “With the debut of Pop-Tarts Pretzel, we’ve fixed a snacking staple, and added two more delicious options to our line-up of flavors.”
The product is hitting c-stores in December in single-serve two-ct pouches with a SRP of 99 cents and will be additional classes of trade starting in January, with eight-ct boxes carrying a SRP of $3.49.
