SweeTarts Gummies Introduced

Glendale, CA — SweeTarts Gummies are being introduced by Nestlé USA/Ferrara Candy Co., Inc. in sweet and sour fruit flavors featuring an “endless variety of shapes,” including turntables, VR headsets and rocket ships.

To mark the brand’s entrance into the sector, the company is hosting the “Search For The Next Gummy Shape” contest. Consumers can submit their ideas at sweetartscandy.com/nextshape by July 22 for the chance to win a year supply of SweeTarts gummies. The winning shape will be featured in future packs, according to the company.

Additionally, the candymaker is running a sweepstakes asking consumers to answer questions about their hobbies and interests using only the uniquely shaped gummies. Entries can be submitted at sweetartscandy.com/shapeyourpassion or by uploading photos to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ShapeYourPassionSweepstakes.

“After recently surveying more than 1,000 college students, and learning that more than 76 percent prefer gummy candies over chewy, hard or licorice candy formats, we knew our fans would be thrilled to try our new Gummies offerings,” says Benjamin Jones, SweeTARTS marketing associate. “With no artificial colors, the new SweeTARTS Gummies pack the same electrifying SweeTARTS flavor that our fans have come to know and love, and with an endless variety of shapes and flavors, no bag is ever the same.”

The new gummies are available in four-ounce share packs, which have a SRP of $1.69 and ship in 48-ct cases, and 5.25-ounce peg bags that carry a SRP of $1.99 and ship 12 per case. SweeTarts Gummies also come in 10-ounce standup bags, which have a SRP of $2.89 and ship eight per case.
