Consumer awareness of gluten and associated health conditions, such as celiac, are raising the profile for gluten-free chocolate, the research company reports.

Additionally, manufacturers of gluten-free chocolate are accelerating distribution through agreements with various retailers and agencies to grow market penetration. Technavio singles out The Hershey Co.’s partnership with Motibhai Group to provide products in its duty-free shops in Nadi International Airport in Fiji as an example.
