Scranton, PA — Students from the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna Country will get a rare glimpse into Ring Pop production and an inside look at careers in manufacturing on November 6, as Bazooka Candy Brands will host the students on a tour of its Scranton Ring Pops plant, according to parent company The Topps Co., Inc.

Bazooka Candy executives will join the students during the tour of the facility and will also field queries during a Q&A, the company reports.  Twenty students will take part in the two-hour event.

Opened in 1973, the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna Country is a consortium of eight school districts in Northeastern Pennsylvania that provides instruction in seventeen different career areas such as electrical construction and maintenance, culinary arts and building mechanics.
