Northbrook, IL — Bell Flavors & Fragrances Inc. has expanded its line of dairy flavors with additions ranging from cheese and butter to milk and sour cream, the company reports.
With the growth of artisanal cheeses and consumer interest in global market products, the variety of cheeses available has erupted, the company reports. Profiles of these flavors include the use of different cheese making processes and sources of milk, in addition to combinations using fresh herbs, honey and alcohol.
The line features flavors such as aged cheddar, feta, manchego, mozzarella, oaxacan, ricotta and toasted parmesan. Bell also has remastered its dairy flavors ranging from rich crema to freshly whipped butter to evaporated milk. Additional flavors continue to be tested and developed for other applications, the company reports.
