New York — Black Forest Classic Gummy Bears from Ferrara Candy Co., Inc. were named Product of the Year in the sugar confections category, while the company’s revamped Butterfingers bar won in the candy bar category and Tic Tac Gum from The Ferrero Group was also recognized, according to award presenter Product of the Year USA.

Further, Mondelez International, Inc. took the prize in the cookies category for its Oreo Thins Bites; CVS Pharamcy, Inc.’s private label Gold Emblem white cheddar flavored bite-size Quinoa & Rice Cakes won in the better-for-you snack category; and the prize for kids’ novelty snack went to Kinder Joy, from Ferrero U.S.A., Inc, Product of the Year USA reports.
