Click-And-Collect’s Convenience, Efficiency Big Draw For Holiday Shoppers

New York — Among shoppers that use technology to make purchases, 67 percent report interest in click-and-collect options to ease their shopping experience this holiday season, according to GPShopper, supplier of mobile commerce and engagement platforms for retailers.

When it comes to the in-store experience technology continues to play a role as 36 percent of shoppers want to use a retailer’s mobile app, while 35 percent want to use scan-and-go options for a quicker check out, according to GPShopper.

Additionally, more than half of holiday shoppers say crowds and waiting in line are among the biggest stress factors when shopping, according to the company.

Leading perks to entice shoppers to choose one retailer over another include special in-store sale offers and free food or drinks.
