Washington — NCA is launching 30-minute “Eye Opener” education sessions running prior to show hours during the Sweets & Snacks Expo, offering attendees actionable insights on a variety of category-specific topics.
These sessions will take place on the first and second days of the show beginning at 8:45, and topics include sales, shopper trends, strategic growth opportunities and the evolving retailer environment in confectionery, snack and specialty channels, NCA reports.
“We want attendees to be prepared with the tools they need to be successful before they hit the show floor,” says Barry Rosenbaum, Expo chairman and president of Nassau Candy Distributors, Inc. “These must-see sessions, along with the entire show’s educational slate, ensure that the Sweets & Snacks Expo, along with being the place where a majority of business gets done for our industry, is also a place where candy, snack and specialty professionals can acquire unrivaled insights.”
A schedule of Eye Opener sessions is available on the Sweets & Snacks Expo website, which also details other education opportunities occurring during the show. This year’s Expo runs from May 23 to 24 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
