Ferrero Hosts Pop-Up Nutella-Themed Hotel In Consumer Contest


Parsipanny, NJ — Hotella Nutella, a first-of-its-kind, weekend getaway experience dedicated to the beloved spread, is set to open for just three days in January 2020. Inspired by the iconic Nutella hazelnut spread from Ferrero U.S.A., Inc., the exclusive one weekend only pop-up resort will treat three Nutella super-fans and their guests to an unforgettable breakfast experience showcasing new ways to enjoy the product.

The company is awarding three winners based on videos consumers can submit to that demonstrate how Nutella makes their mornings special. Judging will be based on creativity, passion for Nutella and connection to breakfast. According to Ferrero, the hotel experience features larger-than-life jars of Nutella and breakfast decor, and hazelnut and cocoa spread-inspired hotel items. Following in the footsteps of the Nutella Cafes in New York and Chicago, guest at Hotella Nutella will have the opportunity to participate in immersive activities including interactive breakfasts developed up by the Nutella Weekend Breakfast Chef Team, featuring:

  • A Nutella Breakfast Dinner with Geoffrey Zakarian: Iron Chef and Food Network celebrity judge Geoffrey Zakarian shows guests that breakfast for dinner has never been easier with Nutella
  • A Savory Soul Food Brunch with Tanya Holland: Known for her take on modern soul food and comfort classics, the chef, TV personality and owner of Brown Sugar Kitchen infuses modern Southern breakfast recipes with Nutella
  • Pancake Art with Dancakes: The pancake artist team, who performs live pancake art around the world, creates viral videos and has been featured on national broadcast shows, will teach attendees how to make pancake designs that combine family fun with Nutella
