Former Starbucks Exec Tapped For Godiva CEO Position

New York — Annie Young-Scrivner, former global CMO for Starbucks Coffee Co. and president of Tazo Tea, has been appointed the next CEO of Godiva, Inc., effective September 14, according to parent company Yildiz Holding A.S.

Prior to working for Starbucks, Young-Scrivner spent 20 years in senior leadership and general management roles at PepsiCo, including serving as president and chairman of PepsiCo Food in China.

She will replace Mohamed Elsarky, who worked at Godiva for seven years, serving as its CEO and president, and is stepping down to focus on other projects, according to the company. Elsarky will continue to be part of the group and work closely with the chairman and as a member of Tildiz’s leadership team.
