Donations were made at 15 local hospitals and non-profit organizations including Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, Temple Hospital, St. Christopher’s Hospital, Lankenau Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Philabundance, according to Frankford Candy.

“With our deep-seated roots as a chocolate manufacturer in Philadelphia, we wanted to express our gratitude toward our local healthcare and frontline workers who have been our community heroes through such a difficult time.” says Stuart Selarnick, Frankford Candy CEO and 2014 Candy Hall of Fame inductee. “Donating Easter candy is our way of bringing a touch of hope and happiness to our community, especially when Easter will look different this year to so many families.”
