New York — Martin Reid has been named chief supply chain officer for Godiva Chocolatier, owned by Yildiz Holding S.A., and will be charged with evolving the supply chain to support the company’s goal of growing the business fivefold in the coming six years, the candymaker reports.
He replaces Clyde Morgan, who retired after eight years with the company.
Reid joins Godiva from The Estée Lauder Cos., where he helped lead manufacturing and supply chain operations, according to the chocolate company. He has also worked at Fortune 500 companies across consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, food and beauty industries.
“We are thrilled to have Martin join our GODIVA family,” says Annie Young-Scrivner, CEO of Godiva. “His extensive domestic and global experience and strong record of driving operational excellence will be invaluable to us as we expand beyond formal gifting to become a daily occasion brand.”
