Wilmington, NC — Henri, a bulldog belonging to Kathie and Tim Santillo, won the first “Bunny Tryouts” contest hosted by the Cadbury brand, The Hershey Co. reports, and will be featured in the iconic Clucking Bunny commercial airing in April.
“When people see the iconic Cadbury Clucking Bunny commercial, they know Easter season is here,” says Katrina Vatter, marketing team member, Cadbury US. “For the first time in more than 35 years, we are honored to expand our tradition and welcome Henri as a new character to the commercial.”
In addition to being featured in the commercial, Henri netted its owner $5,000. Further, Cadbury is donating $10,000 to the ASPCA.
The contest received more than 4,000 entries with pets ranging from dogs and cats to lizards and llamas, Hershey reports.
