Irving, TX — To promote the release of Hershey’s Gold bars, the candymaker and 7-Eleven, Inc. teamed to introduce exclusive Hershey’s Gold caramelized crème cappuccinos, the retailer reports.
Hershey’s Gold, which features caramelized crème, and bits of peanuts and pretzels, has become one of the c-store chains top-selling candy items since its introduction, according to 7-Eleven.
In addition to the limited-edition beverage, through February 28 consumers can get a free Hershey’s Gold bar with the purchase of two standard bars at participating 7-Eleven locations.
“When Hershey approached us about creating a new cappuccino drink flavored like a delicious new candy bar, we jumped on board,” says Shawn Barnes, 7-Eleven senior category manager. “Our customers choose 7-Eleven cappuccino and hot chocolate drinks to treat themselves, and our goal is to offer rich, decadent flavors you can’t find anywhere else.”
