Rockaway Beach, NY — 2019 marks 70 years in business for The Madelaine Chocolate Co. with many more years to come, according to CEO and President Jorge Farber.
“It’s been a great company for three generations and we love this business,” he tells Candy & Snack TODAY. “We have great staff, great customers and we are in a great industry.”
Farber says one of the keys to the company’s success is innovation. “We always have new, fresh and great-tasting products to present to customers,” he notes.
Madelaine’s latest innovation is its new Duets Cherry & Dark Chocolate Double Filled Chocolate Truffles. Each individually wrapped truffle combines cherry and dark chocolate truffle filling in a chocolate shell.
The full Duets line includes Peanut Butter & Caramel, Raspberry & Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate Mocha & Caramel varieties. Standup reclosable pouches hold five ounces and carry a SRP of $4.79. The bags ship eight per case.
The product is also available in a changemaker format. Individual 0.5-ounce truffles pack in 48-ct counter displays and have a SRP of 45 cents. C&ST
