Hackettstown, NJ — Mars Wrigley U.S. LLC is again turning to consumers to help decide the next M&M’s variety, as the company is hosting another Flavor Vote. This year’s installment will feature three crunchy varieties of the candy-coated chocolates: Crunchy Raspberry, Crunchy Espresso and Crunchy Mint, the candymaker reports.
The three-limited edition M&M’s will be available nationwide April 1, and consumers can vote for their favorites in four ways: uploading a selfie featuring their selection to flavorvote.mms.com; sharing their choice on social media with the hashtags #votecrunchyespresso, #votecrunchrapsberry or #votecrunchymint; voting on the program’s website; or sending a text with the word “vote” to 84444.
Voting ends May 25 and the most popular variety will be available for an 18-month period, Mars Wrigley reports.
Each new crunchy variety features dark chocolate. The raspberry version has a rice crisp center, while the other types have cocoa rice crisp centers.
“Building off the success and popularity of the 2016 M&M’s Flavor Vote, we wanted to engage our fans once again by empowering them to help decide the next crunchy flavor of M&M’s,” says Allison Miazga-Bedrick, M&M’s brand director. “We selected three new decadent flavors we believe our fans will enjoy, as they reflect the on-trend, unique and bold tastes growing in popularity across the U.S.”
